Mr. Hasan is working as a project researcher at Division for Environment, Health and Safety; UTokyo. Starting with chemical exposure assessment for Bangladeshi leather industries, he joined UTokyo Iimoto laboratory in 2017 as a master’s research student. Since then, he has been focusing on environmental dynamics assessment for natural radiation (radon and NORM) along with human exposure assessment (Bangladesh as a case study). After obtaining the Ph.D degree in March 2024, he joined as a research staff at UTokyo. His current research and supervising activities are based on radiation protection, risk assessment, and radiation exposure (dose calculation) to humans. Apart from his research work, providing lectures on radiation physics and radiation measurements to graduate students is one of his current activities. He has strong collaborations with national and international research organizations conducting research projects.
